Dorney Court wedding photos – Stephen & Hannah

Several wedding venues I’ve worked at have other purposes besides, well, weddings!  Firstly many are actually lived in homes, but are often used as film sets too, and Dorney Court is another such example.  With Miss Marple and Poirot being filmed here previously this wedding venue was packed with historical charm. With accommodation on site and a fabulous barn as part of the outbuildings, Dorney Court caters well for a varied set-up on your wedding day, blending old with new and creating a wonderful atmosphere.

I’d not met Stephen & Hannah prior to the wedding day, so was pleased that Hannah was a relaxed cool customer, and Stephen equally as laid back and ready to enjoy the day.  These two are a couple clearly meant to be together.  Somehow they just appear to work really well as a duo, yin & yang.  The wedding had been a long time in the waiting though, but eventually Stephen did ‘put a ring on it’ and the beaming smiles from Hannah said it all.

If you’re thinking of this venue for your big day, or are just a guest from the wedding, then sit back and take a look though these Dorney Court wedding photos to get a feel for the day.

Consultation on the hairband placement?

Quick check against the picky!

1 hr to go.  Time to reflect.

It’s important to keep the celling up whilst having your dress fitted.

Super smiley Stephen.

Even the painting were keeping a mindful eye on proceedings.

No pockets in that wedding dress, then I’ll give it to the best man (or maybe your dad!)

An unorthodox approach to playing Connect Four, but interesting none the less.

Ah, did I mention it was Red Nose Day.

It’s hard to photograph it and not want to eat some. No one would notice a few white chocolate shavings if they went missing right?

In the spotlight first for speeches was Hannah’s dad. Who incidentally did an amazing job, followed later by playing guitar and singing too – what a guy!

Your time next best man.  Feeling nervous?

Riveting speeches still struggle to capture the attention of 8 year olds!

Wedding First Dance to Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud

Having asked Stephen & Hannah if they had anything special for the dance floor, it soon became apparent they certainly did.  Some smooth moves based on Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, and all played by Hannah’s Dad & Brothers with family backing vocals which was pretty cool. They even ended it on the floor.
