Over the lovely bank holiday weekend I was busy blasting out weddings like never before! It’s not quite a holiday when you have three weddings in a row to photograph, but what made it magical for me was the difference as ever between them all. The first of my triple header was a garden wedding at Barnsley House in Gloucestershire for Paul & Heather.
BOOM….. Annalise is in the room. That’s how it feels when you meet the lovely Annalise. On 1st May I was at the delightful Barnsley House for the wedding of Pez & Annalise. What a wonderful couple they are, full of energy, excitable, appreciative, yet cool, calm and collected (Pez at least). Maybe it’s the […]
It was only a few weeks ago I was at Barnsley House (for Anton & Katherine’s wedding) however this time around it was to be something even more intimate, with only 10 guests and the couple themselves. A small wedding at Barnsley House was all James & Jo wanted. Less attention on themselves, and only […]
Can I have a favourite wedding venue? Does one in fact exist, as it’s very much dependent on the day itself I guess. However, Anton & Katherine’s winter wedding at Barnsley House has to tick a lot of boxes. Due to it’s beautiful garden Barnsley House is a wedding venue that has traditionally catered more for […]
I wasn’t at a wedding this weekend, instead Anton & Katherine had invited me to take some engagement photos at Barnsley House. How could I possibly refuse? It’s a popular boutique hotel that oozes Cotswold charm, has extensive gardens, chic interior design wrapped in and around it’s beautiful building. In short, it makes the perfect […]
I typically have a few Barnsley House weddings each year, and it’s always a wedding venue I look forward to shooting at. It’s such a fantastic spot, a Cotswold countryside retreat for the Londoners to escape to…..at least that’s the impression I have. Well, welcome to Gloucestershire, and it’s beautiful rolling countryside, chocolate box villages […]
William & Kelly’s Barnsley House wedding in May 2011. William (originally from the US) & Kelly (South African) made their wedding day at Barnsley House one to remember for all their international guests. They had an intimate wedding with around 40 guests, clearly planned the perfect weather, and as a result took advantage of an outdoor wedding […]
A few Barnsley House wedding photos from Chris & Kerry’s wedding in spring 2010. Barnsley House and the surrounding village are packed with Cotswold charm. As a setting for your wedding day it certainly ticks a lot of boxes. You’ve got the local pub just across the road, Barnsley church a short walk through the […]
We wanted to tell you how thrilled we are with all the wedding photos at Barnsley House. When we booked you, we were looking for a photographer who could tell the story and capture the feel of the day in pictures, and that’s exactly what we got from you.
You have such a relaxed approach that you managed to make everyone feel at ease, and also managed to capture a lot of shots without us even knowing!
Everyone who has seen the photos has said how amazing they are and we will certainly be happy to recommend you once our friends finally get round to ‘tying the knot’.
