Steve & Danielle’s wedding was held at Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire, and was a seriously fun packed day with no holds barred. As a wedding photographer only a small part of my job is taking photos, personality and understanding couples is equally as important IMO. I’d not met Steve or Danielle before the wedding, so had a quick briefing from Danielle during the bridal preps as to what Steve was like. “A self confessed Peacock” was Danielle’s response! Okay, so I get the impression being in front of the camera for Steve wasn’t going to be an issue. Dannielle on the other hand described herself as self conscious and camera shy, always pulling stupid faces at the wrong moment.
I wasn’t too sure this was true, and she certainly wasn’t difficult to photograph during the bridal preps (nor were the bridesmaids mind you!). It did however become clear later in the night (after several shots) that Danielle certainly doesn’t worry about what she’s up to, and from what I heard in the speeches Steve’s no saint! It made for an amazing wedding, both these two were great fun to work with, the guests were a ball of laughs too. What more could you ask for.

Possibly the funniest reading I’ve ever heard at a wedding. Sometimes you start laughing, and you just can’t stop.
It’s a beautiful location by the fountain at Berkeley Castle for the wedding drinks reception. You do however have to tread very carefully.
Okay, so I’m beginning to see the faces now.
“Yep, definitely more alcohol please”

Onto Danielle’s ‘bad’ faces. This is her ‘pretending to wretch’ face. Meanwhile the best man below also goes for the same. Steve’s speech really was that good!

So, this photo, really will paint a thousand words (if you were there) and know what was being said (and actioned). OMG…….wedding speeches took the lowest level I think I’ve ever witnessed, yet somehow he managed to get away with it!
