Here are a few Pittville Pump Room wedding photos from Sanju & Francesca’s wedding in September 2010, but what makes this wedding any more special than the others? Well, it was at the one and only St Mary’s Church in Prestbury, Cheltenham – and that’s where I got married :-)
Sanju & Francesca live in London but have parents who are currently living in Cheltenham where Francesca originally grew up. St Mary’s Church is literally a stones throw from their home and was the obvious choice for their wedding. Keeping it local they then had their wedding reception at the Pittville Pump Room, which is a popular venue for me to take wedding photos, seeing as it’s right on my doorstep.
Francesca was one bride who certainly worried about having her photograph taken. “We’re not very good in front of a camera, we’re useless at having our photograph taken”. Many people say this to me, so to get comfortable with having me a round we had an Engagement Shoot earlier in the year. This made the wedding day run really smoothly as neither Sanju or Francesca were concerned about the photos and left me to get on with my thing whilst they enjoyed the day.

Arrival of the wedding flowers is the bridal prep equivalent of the arrival of the bride.
Francesca cousins were great fun to have around. Perfect kids, funny & cute, yet superbly well behaved.
Yeah, it’s best to do your bridesmaid dress up at the back before leaving for the wedding ceremony.
This is a lovely little moment between bride and her dad.
You can tell the guests were Londoners – way too cool for the Cotswolds.
