Wet wedding at Eastnor Castle – Preview

To say we’ve had a bad summer of weather is a massive understatement and this wet wedding at Eastnor Castle is definitely testament to that!  In fact, the BBC reported recently we’ve had 3 times the typical monthly rainfall this July, yet we’re still only half way through the month.  I personally think most of that fell on my wedding at Eastnor Castle last weekend!  OMG……this was rain in biblical proportions.

Anyhow, having emptied the water from my wellies and dried off, I’ve finally sat down and started to wade my way though the photos.  Thankfully Eastnor Castle has plenty of room inside to enjoy your wedding day so a thorough soaking only occurs when you dash from the castle to the church for your wedding ceremony!

So a sneak peak, whilst I work through editing the final images, (and it had to be this one) which pretty much summed up the day.  Lonely ushres walking through the fortified entrance to Eastnor Catsle, protected only by their umbrellas!  And fwiw, no amount of Photoshop is going to make that sky blue :-)  Roll on the British summer.
