In my 10 years as a wedding photographer, as yet I’d not photographed a New Years Eve wedding. James & Naomi’s day was a first therefore, and it’s such a fun day to have a wedding. Clearly you’ll have all your friends at hand to celebrate, and who doesn’t want to party on New Years Eve?
As with another recent wedding, James & Naomi found me after a referral from friends Lee & Sarah who’s wedding I photographed at Friars Court. This time however I was at Steventon House, a new venue on my wedding radar. With everything under one roof it was a straight forward day with a great set of friends and family making it enjoyable.
Love the enthusiasm with triple exclamation marks!!!
This made me laugh. James the cake topper clearly had too much to drink too early. It was only 11am.
How to look good under a black sheet!
Its’s important the wedding flowers smell nice as well as look good.
Quick cheek over dads speech for him.
Any moment now James….
Thankfully there were no objections to the marriage.
This is cute…
Naomi’s brother, very hipster, and somewhat concerning that he had the same shirt that I was wearing that day too :-)
A girl who likes Guiness.
Someone was less happy about the idea of a few formal photos outside!
Size isn’t everything but WOW, these wedding gifts look amazing.
And so the NYE celebration begin…
Naomi’s brothers decided to dress as Dumb & Dumber for the evening.
Kids and a dance floor go hand in hand.
I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at these photos. If you are considering a New Years Eve wedding, please contact me for a chat, I’d love to hear from you.
